At The Hair Hive, we believe beautiful hair shouldn’t come at the expense of the environment. That’s why we’re proud to be part of a sustainable salon initiative that helps reduce waste and create a positive impact beyond our salon walls.
Every appointment you book with us contributes to something bigger. The materials we use every day, including hair clippings, foils, colour tubes, plastics, paper, and other salon waste, are carefully collected and diverted from landfill wherever possible. Many of these materials are recycled or repurposed into new products, while the program also helps create meaningful employment opportunities for people in the community.

Sustainable Bottle Exchange Program
Reduce your packaging waste and maintain the integrity of your high-quality products.
We offer our clients an opportunity to do this with our bottle exchange program; our initiative aims to reduce our client’s environmental impact.
We encourage our salon clients to return their empty hair care containers to the salon for proper disposal, recycling or repurposing; you will then receive a discount of $1.00 off your next purchase of professional hair care from our range of tailored hair care.
By participating in our sustainable bottle exchange program, clients can contribute to the reduction of plastic waste in the environment, as well as the conservation of natural resources.
